So to begin this post I have to return to yesterday where I had my first birthday party because my birthday is today :) I went to Colombo to celebrate my first party ( the second is going to be on Friday) with some of my friends who can't go on Friday including Patricia. At 00:00 today Patricia was the first one to personally wish me a happy birthday, because via texting Joana Neves, my bestfriend, was the first. I really enjoyed to see Patricia Pires again, because she is one of my closest friends and as you know she has changed schools and now, since that happened, I don't have the privilege to be with her every day so it was good for catching up :) but I will talk about her in a more extended post with detailed information about how much I miss her. Oh, by the way, now I'm 16 :) But now I will have to talk about class and the exercise of the other day as I promised .

I'm going to begin with the exercise. The exercise we did last lesson was rather easy to reach an agreement with my team, because I think we all had the same idea I already talked about in the other post. But then I wanted the minister of 67 years old to teach all he knows, but now I see that they had a point, because when the baby grows up to have the appropriate age to be taught the minister could already have died, so I'm now happy that we chose who we chose and that I gave in to their arguments. This was our list to be saved and its reasons:

30-year-old male symphony orchestra violin playes - the reason was his age and gender

23-year-old engineer and his 21-year-old wife - the reason was tha the engineer had 23 years old, we didn't notice the wife... so this list is probably going to have one more than it should be

A male student of your own age from your school - the reason was age

a 32-year-old female sixth-grade teacher - the reason was also age and gender, but also knowledge

a 40-year-old female medical doctor - the reason was her profession

a 25-year-old male poet - the reason was age

a 1-year-old girl - the reason was to have already a new baby

right when we started to do this exercise we cut the high school dropout and the policeman, because the first one was a thug and the second didn't want to be separated from his gun which is crazy ...

Today, after concluding the previous lesson, we started a new unit - The world of work and we did a quiz to see what are our strong points and which career was best for us... Of course that wasn't accurate, at least it seemed. Next lesson when we finish that exercise I will post here my results. See you Tuesday :)
